KIM I. MOTT (formerly Kim Mance) is a writer, filmmaker, musician and creative communicator. 

As a longtime travel writer & blogger, Kim has contributed to media like Condé Nast Traveler, Marie Claire, San Fransisco Chronicle, Travel Channel, Travel + Leisure and WorldHum. She also became a broadcast personality appearing on many TV news shows and documentary films (see below).

Several years ago Kim founded TBEX, which grew into the largest gathering of travel bloggers in the world and was acquired by New Media Expo in 2012.

Her travel essay, "Any Bears Around Today?," is included in Leave the Lipstick, Take the Iguana, a collection of humorous travel stories (Solas House, 2012). Some of her other writing has been featured in publications including Babble and the Women's Policy Journal of Harvard (pdf).

Since 2015 Kim's been filming Book of Shadows, a documentary project exploring the esoteric history and astrotheology (archaeoastronomy) of the world's most printed book, which has taken her to 23 countries and 17 US states.

Meanwhile, along with her partner, Robert Reid, Kim is co-founder of newly-launched Tinkertowners indie media.
